To oversoul a monster, you must defeat its species a certain number of times. When a monster oversouls, its stats increase significantly. Oversouled monsters drop rarer items and have better abilities. Note that you do not have to defeat oversouled monsters for them to appear in Shinra's bestiary.| Species | Kills |
